MFA, OpenVPN and automatic reconnection

Hi,

I use OpenVPN with MFA with IOS devices. Problem is, the VPN disconnect when the device is sleeping for a minute or 2. There is an option for automatic reconnect but since the password change all the time because of MFA, it prompts the password window and users needs to retype their password+token. That's not user friendly at all.

Is there a way to make automatic reconnect work with MFA ? I was using Cisco Anyconnect before and it was working fine, I hope there is a way to do this with OpenVPN !

    Thank you for sharing your observations, I checked internally, and it appears to be a feature enhancement request. I would advise you to raise a feature request at ideas.sophos.com. 

    What is the idle time out value configured with your VPN settings on the firewall?
