Slow PPTP VPN Speeds

Hi everyone,

Just looking for a little bit of advice on my connection speeds when using PPTP VPN with Sophos XG.

The current setup is Home Router > PPTP VPN to Sophos XG > Out to the Internet. So all traffic from my home is routed through the VPN tunnel and then out to the internet.

My connection at home is roughly 60 meg down, and 20 meg up. But when running a speed test I'm only getting 25-30 meg down, and 10 meg up when the router is connected to the PPTP VPN.

Is there something I can do on the XG firewall to help improve the connection speed?

Hi,

pleasecsearch the forum because there is a bug regarding some tunnels and tcp traffic.
