Upgrade

Hi All

I have sophos xg 210 firewall version  17.5.11 MR-11 and sophos keeps asking me to upgrade to version HW-18.0.1_MR-1-Build396.SF300-396. If i update the IOS doi loose my configuration the firewall is already in production

    Hi,

    the upgrade will not cause you to loose your configuration, but will add a lot of extra items

    1/. each firewall rule will have a linked NAT

    2/. each external firewall rule will have an SD-WAN policy.

    Allow yourself plenty of time to review the new configuration before allowing users back on the network.

    In most cases you can delete the SD-WAN policies without any side effects, this assumes you only have one external link.
