problem with getting backup by email

Hi , i have a Sophos firewall  version  XG115 (SFOS 17.5.10 MR-10. but i can not setup back up with email and i receive the bellow error  ,   i have same configuration on other firewalls on other branches and just this one doesn't works ,when i  make schedule and hit the apply i receive the notification email but when i want to backup now it give me that error

 
 
Backup could not be sent due to incorrect server configuration

    Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

    Could you please SSH into the appliance by following this KB and from the Advanced Shell, type the following command:

    # /bin/opcode system_backup -s nosync

    AND

    # grep -n 'Maintenance Flag' /log/applog.log | tail -n1 (For this the ouput might show the S/N of the device, you can ommit it)


    Also if possible please try upgrading the device to 17.5.12 or .13 and let me know if the issue persists.

    Or simply try rebooting the device.

    but it seems something wrong with this firewall because can not log in to terminal and just access to web GUI ,   try to check the firmware  update   but   this error will return 

    Check for new firmware failed   , also when try to check the logs on loges viewer it is empty also try to get local back up but same error with  email backup

    Thank you for the follow-up.

    I would suggest you start a case with Support.

    My guess might be that SSH is not enabled on the LAN or zone you are trying to access from. 

    As per the issues with Firmware might be MTU issue, or it might be that the device is being proxied by an upstream device.

    As per the logs not showing in log viewer, it might be due to not having enough space in the disk, or might be that reporting is disabled, but for this, we would need access to the XG to check in the backend.

    I raised a case with support team and it was resolved , problem was the temp directory on the firewall  become full and it cause firewall functions not working well

    after reboot the firewall it back to normal state and all function are working now.

    Yes if the /tmp partition is full it would cause some weird issues.
