Notification Emails Bouncing

HI,  I have 2 firewalls, one is a XG106, and the other is a XG115w.  The 106 sends notification emails, the 115w does not.  I have been through every single setting in detail side by side, and cannot find anything significantly different between the 2.

Error message in mail log is as follows: R=default_mx_router T=remote_smtp H=mstenant-com-au.mail.protection.outlook.com [104.47.117.36]:25 I=[192.168.0.200]:50995 X=TLSv1.2:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-GCM-SHA384:256 CV=yes DN=\"/C=US/ST=Washington/L=Redmond/O=Microsoft Corporation/CN=mail.protection.outlook.com\": SMTP error from remote mail server after RCPT TO:<help@mycompany.com.au>: 550 5.7.1 Service unavailable, Client host [124.187.105.108] blocked using Spamhaus. To request removal from this list see https://www.spamhaus.org/query/ip/124.187.105.108

From that I gather that 124.187.105.108 is blacklisted, but that is an Office 365 address, so there'd be bigger problems if that was the case.

    Hi

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

The logs indicate that remote sever rejected this email because of Spamhaus blacklist the sender server IP.

Did you configure an external or built-in mail server to send notification emails?

    Thanks,

  • This is using the built in mail server.  I have tried to configure external as well using smtp.office365.com, and smtp.gmail.com with relevant accounts but same result.  This is a brand new ISP connection so unlikely to be blacklisted.
