Waf with LoadBalance

Hello Hesham,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

Once you create the Web Servers to be protected let's say 

Then you go to Protect >> Firewall >> Add Firewall Rule >> Business Application Rule >> Application Template DNAT/FULL NAT/ Load Balancing

Then under Forward to >> Protected Server(s) you need to click Create New and the create IP List

Once you do this, the Load Balancing option will show up and here you can select what method of load balancing you prefer

Thanks for your response but first iam using xg firewall and second if i do the configuration like you did i didnot take the benfit of the WAF protection what iam asking for is to apply waf rule and load blance in the same time

Those screenshots are for XG but they are for DNAT not for WAF, which is what you wanted.

So the XG will do a simply load balancing if you put the servers inside the Protected Server[s]

So one request will go to one and another request to the other one. There is no way to manually configure the Load Balance.

In fact, there is a feature request asking for this https://ideas.sophos.com/forums/330219-xg-firewall/suggestions/19963735-waf-load-balancing-add-additional-features
