Sophos XG with one physical interface and VLANs

Hi Igor,

if you install on a VM server with one physical NIC, you can install XG by creating as you said VLANs which the XG will see as actuations ports.

I only wanted to test the software inside a VM.

Ultimately I want to install it on physical hardware (an Intel NUC with one interface) replacing pfSense. In my circumstances (120Mbit down, 20Mbit up) performance is not impacted - one gigabit link can well handle the duplication of traffic with such setup.

you will need to install a VM of some sort on the NUC before installing XG.
