Google Play apps won't update anymore

Since a few days now, I can't update my apps on my android phone anymore. I tried to figure out the issue but in the log files there is nothing useful logged.

What I did: I created an exeption for the following websites:

beacons4.gvt2.com/

googleapis.com/

googleusercontent.com/

gvt1.com

gvt2.com

miui.com/

play.googleapis.com/

I used both, the proxy and IPS mode. Same issue.

I disabled SSL/TLS inspection while using the proxy. Same issue.

I put my phone in a group with no scanning rules, ips, etc. Still the same issue.

I don't know what's wrong with my firewall.... [:S]

Could you please check the following community thread and add the missing domains in the web filter exception:

https://community.sophos.com/products/xg-firewall/f/firewall-and-policies/98840/android-apps-unable-to-update

Check if that helps and if not, review the web filter logs from the log viewer and identify the blocked domains.

Hello,

I've now added the missing domains to the filter and tried the offered solution in the thread. (Step by step advice)

Unfortunately this doesn't make a change for me.

In the logs all the domains are not blocked but that was even before i setup all the exceptions. A few weeks before everything worked fine with my ruleset.

Maybe google changed something with their update mechanism?
