I need some clarification on the issue of routing precedence for static unicast routes.
On most systems a /24 route has precedence over a /16 route and a /16 over a /8 route.
As an example on most switches and routers:
A route for the network
192.168.35.0/24 takes precedence on a route for the network 192.168.0.0/16, regardless of the position in the routing table
And a route for 10.6.0.0/16 takes precedence over the general route for the network 10.0.0.0/8, also here regardless of the position in the routing table.
Does the same apply for a Sophos XG V18?
