LAN to LAN on different interfaces

Hi community,

I am new to XG V.18 and having a understanding deficit on terms bridge, gateway, VLAN and IP objects.

Concrete:
Subnet A 192.168.80.0/24 on interface 4.
Subnet B 192.168.100.0/on interface 5.
Client 192.168.100.20 in Subnet B should use DNS Server 192.168.80.1 in Subnet A and route to the internet when retreiving an external IP address from DNS Server.

Any help will be appreciated.

First of all, you would have to configure LAN to LAN firewall rule to allow traffic between two different LAN interface.

Gateway: Sophos XG Firewall: How to deploy in gateway mode

VLAN: Sophos XG Firewall: How to configure a bridge

IP (Host)Object: Check page 65 on the following document: Sophos XG Firewall Web Interface Reference and Admin Guide
