PPPOE Authentication failure

Hi All,

 

I am in need of some urgent assistance where after upgrading from 17.5.9 MR9 to 17.5.12 MR12 the PPPOE connection on our firewall failed. 

I had tried to reset the interface and reconfigure and it is still failling. 

The error indicates that the "Authentication fail. Please check username and password.". 

I have called the telco and they confirmed that the username and password are correct. 

Have any of you encountered similar issues on the Sophos XG 210. 

I have raised a case with Sophos but no luck in getting anyone to assist. 

 

If you need any logs please do let me know the path of the logs.

    Thank you very much for the response and really appreciate it. 

    Apologies as i did not realize i posted it in the wrong place. 

    I have got the issue sorted as it appeared that it was a coincidence that the service provider had an outage at the same time we rebooted/upgraded the firewall. 

    The issue is resolved now and I will close it off.
