HA Configuration

Hello,

Make HA configuration. But I realized that I didn't put the ports to monitor, when my firewall went down, I realized that the secondary didn't take over.

Now I see that they are all in the air. is it possible to disable HA to configure the ports to be monitored without impacting my local network?

  • First of all, you can configure Ports in HA in V18, so this limitation of configuration will be solved in V18.

Second, if you disable HA, the second node will go to default mode and only enable the Administration IP. So you can access the second node after disable the HA. Simply disable, put the new configuration in place and configure your HA.

    • After disabling HA, all the ports except the dedicated HA link port and Peer Administration port will be disabled for the Auxiliary Device. The Peer HA Link IP will be assigned the IP address assigned to the Dedicated HA Link Port while the Peer Administration IP will be assigned the IP Address assigned to the Peer Administration Port.
