SSL VPN "CreateProcess failed" error

We have an XG 450 rev.2 and we are using SSL VPN for the majority of our users.  Most times it works well, but with one poor end user their laptop keeps throwing an error whenever they try to use the SSL VPN client.  The error starts after 1 successful startup of the traffic light client.  It states "CreateProcess failed" followed by a string to the openvpn client itself. If you reboot the laptop the traffic light client never starts, and if you try to start it yourself it just throws the error over and over.

The laptop is a Dell with Windows 10.  I have heard that erroneous registry entries are the culprit, but wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions besides "wipe the laptop" that would fix this issue?

    Hi

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

I would advise you to uninstall the SSL Client and reinstall it and update us if that helps. This process will create a new virtual adaptor for SSL VPN.

    Thanks,

  • Thanks for reaching out H_Patel.  I did uninstall the SSL VPN client, deleted the remaining files left in "Program Files(x86)" and then reinstalled.  It worked 1 time, and then every other time it failed just like before.  I didn't clear out any reg files for it so I was wondering if that had anything to do with it.
