Issue with my Sophos XG Firewall

Hi to all Sophos Specialists,

I would like to ask help from this community. I have around 160 plus SSL users connected to our SOPHOS XG 310 firewall. But there are around 20 users cannot connect. I already checked everything, reinstalled the SSL VPN Client. I also tried to reset their passwords. Still they cannot connect. Can anyone here shed some light on what is going on. My theory, correct me if I am wrong the SOPHOS has already reached its limits in connecting the maximum number of users. Below is a screenshot.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hello Rodney,

Thank you for contacting the Sophos Community.

Additionally to what Hardik mentioned, please try checking for any errors in the SSL VPN log in the XG when connecting to the SSL VPN.

    # cd /log

    # tail -f sslvpn.log

Are the same users always having the issue or every day they are different?

Are you using the XG for Local Authentication or you have a Server for authentication?

    Regards,

  • Hi ,

Thanks for the reply. I am using XG as the auth. Can I ask if there is a limit to XG 310? How many SSL users it can cater. Coz when my live users reaches 50 the 51th user and so on cannot connect anymore. They can login to the user portal so I think there is no issue with there username and password. I was thinking maybe it already reached the hardware limit. Do you have any idea regarding this.

    Thanks
