Specify wan channel for SSL VPN on Xg310

I have two WAN connections set up on my XG310 v18.

Wan 1 is the main pipe and wan2 is a very very slow speed ADSL line to just keep email running if the main channel went down.

My SSL VPN clients seem to be defaulting to the Wan2 ip address rather wan1 which means it very very laggy.

Is there anywhere to configure which wan connection to use for vpn?

Thanks

  • There is no direct way to select specific WAN link for SSL VPN, however you can direct SSL VPN clients to connect on specific WAN link by configuring "override hostname" as public IP address of WAN1.

VPN > show VPN settings > SSL VPN

Note: after changing vpn settings, ssl vpn client need to re-import the configuration.
