Remote Reboot a R.E.D

Hey all,

I have been scanning the forums and Google etc trying to work out if I can remote reboot a R.E.D as I have onhe at a remote site too far away from me to get to.

I cannot find anything other than disable and re-enable the bRED interface which doesnt trigger a reboot.

Is there any way to do this?

  • REDs should reboot after loosing the connection to XG/SG.

If you disable the Interface and wait some time, the RED should reboot and try again to connect.

You could also DNAT the Traffic of RED to some blackhole IP and this should trigger a Rebootl.

But why do you need a Reboot in the first place?
