Sophos Connect Client setup fails (deployment through gpo)

hello,

I have been trying for some time to roll out the sophos connect client via software distribution using the group policies. The application is correctly assigned during reboot, but not installed. I get the error messages %% 1605 and %% 2

The sophos connect admin msi-file is on the same path and is correctly assigned and installed. The permissions and group policies are identical. the system waits for the network connection when it starts.

Does anyone know the problem?

Thanks a lot for your support!

many Greetings

Felix

  • Do we talk about Sophos Connect or Sophos Connect Admin?

As for today, i would rather recommend to not deploy them admin Tool to all clients.

We are talking about Sophos Connect.

The distribution of Sophos Connect Admin was just a test to make sure, that the clients have access to the path and that everything is correct with the authorizations.
