UTM9 to SFOS Backup Restore

Hi ywillie,

you can't restore a backup from a UTM-system to a SFOS-system, they are completely different. There is also no automatic migration possible.

Thanks for the fast responce.. I thought it's indicated on one of the KB that it's possible to restore from SG to XG..
So it's only SFOS to SFOS and not UTM to SFOS.

there is a migration tool which is only available from partner/resellers. I would recommend you talk to your reseller/partner if it is applicable in your case?

I've not heard of this tool from our vendor. I guess it's not available to regular vendors ?

I've currently send forward the message. Waiting for the vendor to reply me on this.

Got an update from my vendor.
They do have the tool for migration from UTM9 to SFOS .

There're quite a bunch that are not supported if i were to perform the migration.
The tool is an iso that requires installing as a ISO to load the save files over.
It's actually an virtual SFOS copy with a 30days trial.
