dhcp problems

Hi,

I have 2 dhcp problems that gives me sleep deprivation.. What am i missing?

1. The plan is to use port 1 & 2 as LAN ports. Devices connected to either port 1 or 2 should get an ip from the lan dhcp. But now only devices connected to port 1 gets an ip.

I've created a bridge with port 1&2 as members:

Created a dhcp for the lan bridge:

and a lan to lan fw rule

2.  Ive connected an asus AP to port 3 on the sophus XG. guest network tagged with vlan 6. The problem is no guest get ip from dhcp.

Created a vlan 6 on port 3.

and a dhcp for vlan 6

and a fw rule

  • Hi,

with the VLAN I assume it is connected via a smart managed switch with trunk to the XG and untrunked to the AP port?

Does the AP get an address? The AP should not be tagged.
