SSLVPN Public IP

Hi, I have a SSLVPN configuration in our office. Remote users can connect to the office network upon connecting to the vpn.

However, I noticed that while I'm connected using the SSLVPN my public IP is still my home ISP not the office ISP.

Did I miss any configuration?

  • Hi

Go to VPN > SSL VPN (Remote Access) and select SSL VPN policy >> Tunnel Access and Enable "Use As Default Gateway", it will enable full tunnel for SSL VPN and your Internet traffic will pass through Sophos XG firewall instead of your local system ISP, please create VPN to WAN firewall rule to allow Internet traffic generated from your system.

    Use as Default Gateway

Activate the toggle switch if you want to use this as the default gateway. If activated, all traffic is forwarded to a default gateway including external Internet requests. If deactivated, the traffic uses a split mode to separate traffic for internal network segments and external Internet requests through different gateways.
