We have deployed a few Sophos XG's and attempted to use Sophos Connect. Has LDAP authentication ever been implemented yet? In order to get around this issue we have implemented STAS on a few systems but STAS has proven to be very unreliable especially after windows updates, etc. And the need to sync AD users to the Sophos user list has always seemed a little clunky. And with the latest zero-day issue and "local" users being synced we were forced to reset passwords in AD and force syncs via STAS. This worked and recommended but really not too efficient.
As a result of this, we have gone back to using SSLVPN for these environments.
I have not looked in a while..So is LDAP an option?
