Why do I have to reset the XG passwords again? KB 135412

Hi there

In relation to the recent Sophos XG Firewall compromise event - on 25th April I got an email from Sophos to say some XG's had been compromised. I immediately logged into all the Sophos firewalls we manage and spent the rest of that day resetting the admin and user passwords on all of them and disabling the SSL user portal access to the WAN. HTTPS admin portal wasn't open to the WAN.

Now I'm being forced to reset them all again - why is this?

Can Sophos reverse this reset as I don't want to spend the day wasting my time resetting them all over again?

Thanks

Gerry
