We are newbie in the sophos world, and we are installing 18 Firewalls new for our corporation. We can make a basic SDWAN with RED and working fine, however we have a situation that we research and try to get some support to make our Forwarding rules working.
We have one SQL Server that we need to get access to direct connection in an IP Public address, we are doing the steps of Forwarding but is not working
We have the following rule Setup
Source --> WAN --> ANY
Destination --> The port with our IP Public
Service add one with the port 1433 on TCP and UDP (We try each other, separate and both UDP and TCP)
Forward to --> Our Server in the LAN on VLAN 10
Protected Zone --> LAN
We try in different ways and is not working, also we don't have any restriction from the ISP of the traffic so is not a problem
We are trying with different IPS and is not working. If there is something we are not doing correctly or miss.
The rule we are trying to setup in a XG330 (SFOS 17.5.3 MR-3.HF050520.1)
We need to do also another port forwarind to a different server with the same IP or could be another to get access some Web services we have, and the same results, so we dont know if we need to setup something different.
