NTP and HA

If you change the time zone from Administration >> Time the device will reboot and changing other option might terminate your login session but will not reboot the device.

Is that mean if i change the configuration on the firewall to use custom ntp server and try to sync the time the firewall will restart .

Hi Hesham,

No, if you are only changing the NTP configuration to use custom NTP server and sync the time, the firewall won't need a reboot and it won't affect HA.

But you would need to disable HA to change the Time Zone and it will require a reboot -
