XG firewall with sky VDSL dhcp-client-identifier

Hi

I wanted to try the XG Firewall at home, I currently Run PFSENSE (Modem (Zyxel VMG8924-B10-A) > PFsense (running as VM on Hyper-v) > Home Network)

Sky requires DHCP client option 61 dhcp-client-identifier in order to obtain an external IP. However there is nowhere on the web interface to do this.

My search led me to an instruction of editing "/var/chroot-dhcpc/etc/default.conf" and adding "send dhcp-client-identifier 3132333435.......However when i go into advanced shell "/var/Chroot-dhcpc" dosn't exist.

Am i missing something, or has something changed, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

  • Thanks for your help. At least it's not just me not finding the file then. I know this has also been a feature request but it doesn't appear to be getting any motion behind it and my hours of searching haven't bared any fruit. I'll have to accept that i can't use this for now.
