DHCP Passthrough?

Is it possible to hand-out DHCP addresses to Connect clients from our internal DHCP server? All of our Connect clients appear to have the same IP address to internal systems - that of the firewall. That causes issues if we want to connect to those Connect clients from an internal source.

  • You must assign a unique a DHCP range for Sophos Connect Client policy and SSL VPN Policy. Make sure the two ranges are separate subnets. Do not  split the subnets and assign them. They must be separate range. Also make sure you are not splitting the subnet that is assigned to any of your LAN interface and assign it as a DHCP range for the Remote access client policy.

There is one bug in the current client. DHCP lease assigned to the client is not registered with the DNS server so you will not be able to reach the client by hostname from inside. You can reach it by its virtual IP.
