Sophos firewall manager interface status

Firewall manager keeps showing alerts for down interfaces (all appliances availability status is red). Actually all the firewall have green overall state for network interfaces.

Where does it come this information?

What is a current firmware version of the Sophos firewall manager?

Do you have any unbound or unplugged interfaces in XG firewall?

I'm running latest version of firewall manager. Of course I've got unbound (unused) interfaces. But there is a difference between 'unused' and 'unplugged'

In fact firewall dashboard, does not mark 'unbound' interfaces as an issue in the overall state

The SFM should reflect the same status.

We have a down port against all our managed XG's on the SFM - I believe it's because the GuestAP interface is unplugged as we don't use Sophos AP's.

That's my doubt. SO i did enable it, for testing purposes, but result stays the same. So I'm bound to open a support request

Hi All,

We are having the same issue. SFM 17.1.2 & Firewalls all on 17.5.11.

Just wondering if you ever found a fix to this?

Hi Adam Rippon and Fellow community members,

We have checked and found that the reported issue is known behavior with the device and it will show interface status down for unbound or disabled physical port, this can be tracked with ID NCCC-3198.
