License Transfer

I purchased XG135 firewall about 3 years ago. Then, the company grew and I purchased XG210 (with 3 years subscription) last year, I kept XG135 as spare unit. So now, XG135's subscription is about to expire and we do not have intention to renew it since it is not in use. What I would like to know is, if something happened to my XG210, can I temporary transfer the license to XG135 while waiting for the RMA?

    When I tried to do the license transfer, I got the following error. 

    • No Eligible Target Devices

      We’re sorry, no eligible target devices could be found for this source license. For a device to be eligible it must:

      • Be registered by you (i.e. not shared with you)
      • Have no existing paid-for subscription licenses
      • Be of the same or equivalent model to the source device

    Right now both devices still have active licenses, so I cannot transfer the license. My question is, is there a way to find out whether XG135 and XG210 are equivalent model?

    You need to talk to Sales about the license Transfer. 

    License Transfer is only possible between the same model. You have a upgrade. 

    So basically it is a sales process to upgrade your license and discuss the remaining duration of your license.
