AnyDesk

Hi Fellows.

Im having an issue with Anydesk application. ive created en exceptions but still no luck - SSL handshake error.

Im using DPI so when im switching it off then its working but its not the case. :)

Ofcourse when ill add EACH IP to exception then it canwork but for a while, cuz a few minutes later i have to add another X IPs to exception - where i dont wanna cuz of security reasons.

Thx for help ^^

  • Hi,

setup a FQDN and add it to the destination network in lieu of ANY. The application does not work with the current implementation of DPI, so you will need to use the proxy even though the ports aren't in the proxy range so you can disable the DPI scanning.

If you are using the default DPI rule then you are using maximum compatibility and no decryption, so you are not gaining any extra security by using DPI.
