SNMP daemon restart

You can list all services with "service -S" 

There is a service called "snmpd".

With "service snmpd:restart -ds nosync" you should be able to restart this service. 

Maybe check first the current running state with "service -S |grep snmp"

I've try your suggestion in serveral XGs but this services does not exist:

XG230_WP02_SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9# service snmpd:restart -ds nosync
400 Service not found
XG230_WP02_SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9#

XG230_WP02_SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9# service -S |grep snmp
XG230_WP02_SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9#

Can you please verify and give to the community the correct answer?

The Service is renamed in V18. So my commands are only applicable for V18. 

I'm sorry that I haven't been update all my customers to the v.18 beta release..

In which community there's someone that running the V.17 or older that can give us support??

SNMP is handled by garner service in the SFOS v17.

Logs for SNMP also falls under garner, I will still check if there is a separate service for SNMP and update you further.
