How many simultaneous Clientless RDP connections and Sophos Connect Connections can the XG 310 handle

Not sure if anyone has run any tests on this already and I did not find any documentation on this either but is there a max amount of connections for the clientless RDP connections that the XG can handle depending on the model? Also how many connections would it be able to handle over the Sophos Connect? We are also looking into what would be the traffic comparison between using the RDP clientless access compared to using the VPN client and then using RDP from there?

We're going to be having more employees working from home due to the COVID-19 and so wanted to see what would be best for performance.

    Luis,

    do not open RDP accessible from external networks. RDP is unsecure. Go for a SSL VPN or Sophos Client Connect.

    Due to DHCP range /24, you can have up to 254 concurrent SSL VPN Connections. with Sophos Client Connect I am not sure if there are restrictions.

    For a XG 310, the sizing guide says that you can have up to 2488 for IPSec connections.

    Hey lferrara, yeah I'm not opening the RDP port to external networks just using the userportal clientless bookmarks for RDP. Trying to see if there is any limitations on that and what kind of bandwidth that uses compared to RDP over an IPSec connection.
