Remove Profiles from Clients?

Hello is there a way to centrally remove Sophos Connect profiles from deployed clients? What about updating existing profiles if a change is made on the Sophos Connect config in the XG? Does the new profile overwrite the old if it has the same name?

Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to remove profiles centrally. For an update, the new configuration file should be downloaded and import to reflect changes.

Does the updated profile copied to the Import folder have to be named exactly the same as the old version? What's the supported protocol for doing this?

Hi Ken, the name should be the same, if you want to update settings. We're working on a future policy distribution method using Sophos Central, and at that point, you will have tighter controls on what policies can exist on each client, allowing profiles to be removed if necessary.
