Blocking WhatsApp does not work

Hi, good day, i have a policy to block many services including whatsapp, but i can access to the site, does any one have an idea? thanks.

Hi Miguel Cruz,

Could you please provide screenshot of the application control policy?

Also please check if the traffic is hitting correct firewall rule that has application policy configured.

This is the general KB Article on how to block Whatsapp : Sophos XG Firewall: How to block Whatsapp.

Please check if you have application policy configured according to this KB Article.

I already uploaded the screenshots, and yes, i have everything like the guide.

I did changes, i want to block mobile apps but keep desktop website but not working well.

Hi Miguel Cruz,

Please remove WhatsApp Web if you have it selected, removing it will allow desktop website.
