Sophos XG on VMWare Fusion with Internet access

I'm used to installing ESXi on VMWare Fusion, but not Sophos XG.... It works on ESXi with this config, and i can only assume would be the same with Sophos:

2 vNICs : 1x Host, 1x Bridged

After initial installation (.iso image), everything pings ok from console... 172..x.x. (LAN) default,, WAN, and client VM..

I also get reply from Google 8.8.8.8 from console as well, so i assume server set up ok... and can ping 172.16.16.16 from client VM.

However i can't access via web browser on this IP... Is this DNS related? as DNS is pointing to 172.16.16.16.. (Attached)

you have not assigned a gateway.

And what would the gateway be... ?

I tired 172.16.1.254 which would be default gateway in Host only mode, but t didn't work .. I'm guessing gateway is supposed to be on Sophos?
