How can I disable logging on WAF rule?

By default,

logging on WAF is enabled but the icon says it is not. There is no way to select logging enabled or not in the UI?

Is this a bug or normal behaviour? This happened even on v16+.

I am running latest v18.339.

Hi lferrara,

As soon as you select protect with web server protection on V18, Log firewall traffic disappears and this option was not even available in older version of SFOS.

WAF rules are not considered as normal firewall rules. This is expected behaviour and not a bug.

Thanks for your answer but I do not agree with you.

If you do not know, user thinks that logging is disabled (based on the log icon which is greyed-out).

This is a bad behaviour guys!

Will talk to the GUI People to consider of changing the icon for you.

But actually never notice this before.

I do not know, if its a Fix or not. It seems to me like a minor adjustment in the GUI. Because basically it shows, the firewall logging is disabled, while logging on the Reverse Proxy is per default always enabled.

No matter what, reported it. Should be not on top of the priority list but it is now there.

Faced the same situation. It's not normal. And it should be fixed!
