Google Nest Camera (Dropcam) not working

Hi Frederiek Pascal 

What is the firewall rule configuration to allowing Nest cameras in Sophos Firewall? I've read on some external articles that it also requires an outbound 1443 port to run its service. You need to make sure that you have properly allowed all the required ports for your Google Nest Camera to function.

That's in fact my question. How can I know which ports I need to open for this application? 

So where do I detect the traffic from my Dropcam?

And when the traffic is found, how do i allow this traffic in my Sophos.

You will need to look into the firewall log.  I suggest you create a filter in the log viewer for source IP address and input the public IP address you are coming from. 

Watch the log whilst trying to access the camera.  You should see dropped requests.

For which ports are needed outbound, I suggest you create an outbound rule with source IP of the Dropcam and set any services.  Do not have any scanning policies applied.

Then check to see if it works.
