Problem XG125 and IP Printers

Hi, we are having a problem with our XG125 and are Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Printers, are current setup is  XG125 with orbi mesh network. if we Plug the  Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE Printers into the orbi satellites the printers can communicate with the computers without any problems, but if we use the ports on the  XG125 we can't see any of the printers form the computers, the printers are getting IP address, but we can't access them unless we go thru the orbi satellite, we have the  orbi router in AP Mode plug into port 1 LAN

Thanks

  • Hello breda,

I was a little bit unclear: If the ORBI is a bridge, you don't need a route.

If is is acting as a router, you could check this by looking at the Wifi client's addresses, are they from a different net?

Then, and only then, you would need to route between these nets.

  • I wanted to thank everyone for the help we found the problem  LAN to LAN (Any service) rule to the firewall to allow communication across the ports configured in the bridge. After this we saw the printer successfully be ICMP-reachable
