Deploy Sophos Connect with Group policy problems

Hello

I have tried to deploy Sophos Connect via GPO with help of documentation. I found the instructions how to do it, and it is very easy.

Except specified policy gets applied and no software is installed, I tried to install other software with same policy and it works. Is there a problem with .msi package (version 1.4)

Also if I want to deploy policy with GPO it also does not work. The problem is that GPO has no access to folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Sophos\Connect\Import\ to copy configuration file.

Thanks

Mazi

the problem is with GPO install.

Not that this will help this specific issue.

I ended up using PDQ Deploy and pushing it out via this tool as my users are not Local Admins.

Added a second step to add the Config file to their desktop so they just needed to Import and connect with their credentials.

There is a free version of PDQ Deploy is needed.
