Dear Support Team,

I am using Sophos XG firewall and i have create a firewall policg rule and application rule to block YouTube website now YouTube website is block on just internet explorer but running on Google Chrome, please help me out how to to block YouTube Web on Google Chrome.

    How to block YouTube access in Chrome

    Google Chrome has enabled a new protocol named Quick UDP Internet Connections (QUIC). This protocol allows users on Chrome to browse to Google's YouTube with no additional configuration necessary.  To block QUIC access to YouTube we have to make a new Firewall rule to drop UDP traffic on 443.

    1. Navigate to Firewall.
    2. Click + Add Firewall Rule 
    3. Fill out the following settings:
      • Name: Block YouTube - Chrome Rule
      • Action: Drop
      • Source Zones: LAN
      • Source Networks and Devices: ANY
      • Destination Zones: WAN 
      • Destination Networks: ANY (or specify IP range or group used by Google)
      • Services: Create a new service.
        • Protocol: UDP
        • Source Port 1:65535
        • Destination Port 443.
    4. Click on Save.
