web access timeout

Hi,

I am testing Sophos XG SFOS 17.5.9 MR-9 in Vmware to decide what firewall fits in my enviroment.

The Authentication is cofigured as STAS (Sophos Transparent Authentication) in an active directory enviroment.

In authentication->services:

  • Global settings maximum session timeout is set to Unlimited
  • Ntlm settings  Inactivity time is set to 300 minutes and Data transfer threshold is 1 byte (It doesnt permit to set to 0)
  • Web client settings (iOS, Android and API)  Inactivity time is set to 300 minutes and Data transfer threshold is 1 byte (It doesnt permit to set to 0)

Even so, internal web users after few minutes are  disconected from sophos  and to access the internet again, they have to logoff/login in windows desktop.

Am I missing a step ? How can I change to not disconnect user for at least 12h ?

Thank you

Romanek
