SophosXG Azure License: BYOL to PAYG

Hi,

I have deployed one SophosXG firewall in Azure with BYOL with 30 days trial. Rather than going for BYOL; I like to have PAYG license. Is it possible to have PAYG license without deploying new instance? Can I can covert the existing one?

    As far as i know, you cannot change the process.

    Thats because the Serial Number is branded with the appliance in this process. 

    Take a backup of the appliance (Backup / Restore), deploy a new Appliance with same configuration, restore the appliance and say "PAYG".

    This is how I understand it as well.  Once that serial is created you can not change it.

    I have successfully backed up and re-deployed with no issues (just did one last month actually).  If you plan it right, should be pretty minimal cutover time.
