MAC encryption for sophos XG

Hello Guys,

i need to edit Sophos XG MAC encryption details for SSH connection (KEX - Cipher - MAC  - Compression) algorithms.

as i have a tool for SSH connection recording and auditing not working and gives below error:

(key exchange failed): "Error negotitating common algorithms

please help.

    Hi  

    Thank you for your post, as far as I understand, you are trying to take SSH access of the Sophos XG firewall from MAC OS system and you are getting an error.

    May I know which tool you are trying to use to get SSH access from the MAC OS system?

    thanks for your reply, i'm trying to connect from one identity Safeguard application (SSH tool) with custom authentication and hashing algorithm.

     

    KEX algorithms : diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256,diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1,diffie-hellman-group14-sha1

    cipher algorithms : aes128-ctr,aes192-ctr,aes256-ctr

    MAC algorithms : hmac-sha2-256,hmac-sha2-512

     

    which are not compatible with Sophos SSH sessions.
