How to generate wildcard CSR in Sophos XG Firewall

Please give me some advice on how to generate wildcard CSR for obtaining external certificate to use for captive portal

Can I use ssl wildcard certificate for captive portal

And what can I select in certificate ID

As far as i know, you need a specific certificate for the XG itself.

Captive Portal is a hostname based Portal. So to call, it will use the hostname of XG (for example "hostname = XG).

You would need a DNS record for XG and a certificate for XG as certificate common name. Than use this certificate for user facing facilities.

shall I need to create DNS Record internal XG ( hostname) to ( LAN IP ) in my internal DNS Server ?
