XG125W REV3. Still limited local wireless.

Is it me or pretty soon we will be in 2020, and a brand new XG125W rev 3 still cannot do 2.4 and 5 mhz simultaneously ?   When are we ?  1990 ?

Also, the way local antennae (.e. local_ap) is managed so differently than any other Access Points like an AP55 is just a truck load of unnecessary confusions.  This "local AP" concept that is supposed to simplify things,  does exactly otherwise,  is locked, uneditable, and is just a impeachments.

Like many Sophos interfaces, unintuitive, inconsistent, time consuming, and in the end will lead to castrated, compromised, and/or non-optimal functionalities.

 

Sophos, scrap all that "local wifi" stuff and treat these local antennae just like any other AP. NOW.

    I understand the point you are trying to make but the datasheet of XG 125W Rev3 has mentioned single radio 2.4 or 5 GHz. If you are having a performance/configuration issue, I would request you to contact technical support and raise a service request.
