STAS Data Collection Question

Hello,

 

I just setup STAS on a Server 2008 R2 DC and with an XG125. All client systems are Windows XP Pro. They can not upgrade because of their Line of Business app only works on XP. I see in the live users of the STAS agent that two random users populate for a few mins, then disappear. Then two other random users populate for a few mins then disappear. I have logged in as one of the users and just web surfing for an hour or so periodically clicking the live users and the user I am logged in as does show, but then disappears, even though I did not log out and am using the internet.

My question is:

Is there an issue with STAS WMI reporting and Windows XP? Is it compatible?

    Yes to both questions. I got the exact information that the KB stated. 

     

    Thank you for trying to help right away, but this is not answering my original question, I was looking for information. Because as I stated in the first post, all of the clients' workstations are Win XP Pro SP3. The server STAS is on is Server 2008 R2. I wasn't sure if there was some type of incompatibility.

     

    I just wanted to get that information before I did any troubleshooting on the issue. I could not find a doc anywhere that stated the compatibility requirements for STAS; what OSs it can be installed on, what OSs it can talk with etc.
