RED15w no Access Point on XG

I have a RED 15w that was previously working, however for some reason the Access Point features stopped working.

I have removed and reconfigured the device via the XG Add RED Interface option, the device establishes a tunnel and is marked as Connected and Online at the XG, though the AP is never listed as  active OR inactive OR pending under Wireless Access Points.

This has been logged with Sophos Support - Ticket #9338508 but so far no progress has been made.

Has anyone else had this happen?

    I am having the exact same issue with four x RED 15w. The AP features have stopped on all of four of them and their status displays as "inactive" on the XG under Wireless Access Points.

    I also completely removed the RED interface for just one device and then re-added. Same issue you are having - this RED is now never listed as active OR inactive OR pending under Wireless Access Points, but the tunnel is up and functional via cable connection. The remaining three RED's still show up as inactive.

    All 4 RED's are in separate locations at end-users home office.

    Hi jcvd,

    Have you tried to reboot the RED 15W devices? Please try to disable tunnel compression under RED configuration and if it is already disabled, try to use unified RED firmware. On RED page under System Services > RED > Check option "Use RED beta firmware".
