MTR shows high packet loss on XG WAN

Dear Sophos Community,

when using the Network-Tool "MTR", I see a high number of packet loss on Firewall XG 650 with latest Firmware 17.5.8. (Also on 17.5.5)

Our XG has four IP-Adresses in a single VLAN (same Subnet) for WAN-Access and all of them are configured on the Zone "WAN". The Internet-Access is passed trough two Cisco-OSPF-Routers and then forwarded to the XG. All of the WAN-IPs are configured on four different Ports (A1.16, A2.16 etc.) on the Firewall, which uses the OSPF-Routers as WAN-Gateway in the WAN-Link-Manager. The Gateway-Weight for all WAN-IPs on the Firewall is 1.

I've already looked through the mtr-Doku and "icmp rate limiting" or "icmp flood protection" might be a cause for this issue. On our firewall, this feature is not enabled.

Have someone of you seen this error before and could give me an advice? Could it be, that there are four addresses responding for WAN-Access?

When I use mtr on local network, I see no packet loss.

Thank you.
