web site

hello guys

I have two isp providing internet in my office as primary and secondary. Recently one of the website is being browsed from one isp public ip while next isp dont let the website to be resolved. Is there any way such that i can use firewall or routing such that the abc.com would always pick a particular public ip irrespective of its parent pc public ip.

  • Hi

There are 2 ways to achieve your requirements.

    1. You may create Destination IP based firewall rule, please get the IP address list for the domain, create a LAN to WAN firewall rule, add all those IPs in Destination Network and select the "Primary gateway" as your desired ISP through which you want to allow the traffic, please put the rule on top.

    2. You can create FQDN based firewall rule- https://community.sophos.com/kb/en-us/123035, select the ISP as the primary gateway. Please put the rule on top, make sure that the user system and XG DNS resolved the same IP for the domain to work with FQDN based firewall rule.
