LAN to DMZ FTP Scan Corrupts Zipped Files

I have a LAN to DMZ Rule setup with-

Source Zones: LAN

Source Networks: ANY

All the time

Destination zone: DMZ

Destination Network: FTP/SFTP Server

Services: FTP, SFTP SSH

I have Scan FTP for Malware since many users upload from anywhere and then my users download from the server.  But when we upload a password protected zip file from the LAN to the DMZ the zip gets corrupted.  To be clear this can be the same password protected zip someone uploads from WAN to DMZ and everything is fine.  It only happens when we upload from LAN to DMZ.  If we turn off Scan FTP for Malware on the LAN to DMZ Rule the issue does not happen.  The issue also does not happen with every zipped archive only some regardless of whether scan FTP is on or not.  The files do not contain malware and I am getting no alerts or anything in the log showing the XG found malware.  All zipped archives we have tested are password protected as well.

Thoughts?
