Running web server on additional ip address, remove client portal/user portal.

Currently when I go to my alias ip address I added *.*.*.124 I get the client portal (Main ip is *.*.*.122 and client portal shows here too). I've created a firewall rule that should send the traffic to the .124 wan alias address to a web server. I thought I turned off the client portal completely for WAN but it still shows up on port 80. How can I use my additional ip address to send to a local webserver instead of the client portal?

  • Corey,

User Portal access is managed by Device access option under Administration Menu. From there, remove the tick to User Portal WAN zone annd create a "Local service ACL exception rule".

By default, all device access services listen on zones and not on IP addresses. This is by design and I hope they will change it soon.
